Words cannot suffice to say how sublimely, life-affirmingly, head-explodingly good Arcade Fire were last night. If the sound mix had actually been perfect, as opposed to messy for the first six or seven songs, I do believe I may actually have either a) died or b) achieved orgasm via the sheer skill, enthusiasm, artistry and wonderfulness of the 10 talented people on stage.

Arcade Fire are fantastic - I haven't heard bought their latest album though - is it as good as their last?
Wow, how supremely awesome was it? I was embarrassed by my inability to stop from shuffling along.
I just realise I've met you a couple of times through my friend Rowan, who passed away last year. We used to come to Q+A all the time when we were younger. Didn't make the connection, and I've been reading this blog on and off for ages. Small world.
Daniel - yes, it is - not as instantly good, it's a grower; but I also think it's more consistent than 'Funeral'.
